The multi-core internal partition design is a safety feature specifically engineered into the M15 series for LED lighting applications. In high-power LED installations, the power supply can deliver >500W at voltages up to 350V DC. If a wire insulation layer becomes damaged (during installation or from vibration), exposed conductors could short-circuit—causing driver failure or even fire. O-ring inspection– The pre-installed O-ring should be inspected at each maintenance cycle. Replace if deformation, cracking, or hardening is visible.
O-ring replacement schedule– For outdoor installations with daily thermal cycling, replace O-rings every 2-3 years as part of preventive maintenance.
Cable bend radius– Maintain a minimum bend radius of 5× cable diameter at the connector entry to prevent stress on the cable seal.
